Two races were completed today in the ILCA 6 fleets at the 2023 Allianz Sailing World Championships, in about 10 knots of shifty breeze with gusts up to 14 knots. However, the men were not so fortunate, and no races were completed in the ILCA 7 fleets due to lack of wind.

On the ILCA 6 course, Hungarian Mária Érdi continues to lead after finishing with a steady third and seventh today. She has defended her lead despite the introduction of a dropped race on the leaderboard now that four races have been completed. With the scoring shakeup, Tokyo gold medalist Anne-Marie Rindom of Denmark rose to third overall after locking in an eighth- and third-place finish. Italy's Carolina Albano still sits in second place after finishing with a fourth and a (dropped) 22nd today. Another notable performance today came from American Erika Reineke, who had two top-10 finishes today, which pushed her to fifth overall. Reineke sits one point ahead of three-time Olympic medalist Marit Bouwmeester of The Netherlands, who is slowly climbing the leaderboard after an inconsistent first day (1,19).

On the ILCA 7 course, the wind dropped to about 6 knots for the first race, while fighting against 4 knots of current once the tides turned. They started one race, but when none of the sailors made it to the top mark by the time limit, they hoisted the AP flag to postpone races, before eventually sending them ashore to wait. By 17:00, the race committee called it for the ILCAs. Scores remain the same as yesterday in the ILCA 7 fleet.
