A memorandum of understanding was signed by the Saudi Sailing Federation and Sela at Jeddah Yacht Club to activate cooperation between the two parties.

Under this agreement, Sela will provide consultancy services and logistical support for Saudi Sailing Federation events and activities held at the Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina.

Sela will also work in cooperation with Saudi Sailing Federation to establish a strategic partnership to manage races and events at Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina. This agreement allows Saudi Sailing Federation to benefit from the JYC Academy and the educational programs offered for those who wish to develop sailing skills.

Representing the Saudi Sailing Federation, Mr. Hassan Isam Kabbani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federation, expressed his appreciation toward this partnership, which in turn supports the sports sector in our beloved Kingdom and supports achieving the goals of His Highness the Crown Prince's 2030 Vision - to establish sports excellence locally, continentally, and internationally - one of the most important elements of the strategy is to activate the sports sector in the Kingdom and to encourage regular participation in sports activities.

Mr. Mohideen Nazer, the SVP of Sela Parks and Resorts, expressed his pride in signing this agreement, which highlights SELA Marine's position as the market leader for Marina Operations, Sailing and Marine Watersport development within the Kingdom. Furthermore, the JYC Academy is the first facility of its kind in Saudi Arabia, offering people the opportunity to follow a number of development pathways whether pursuing the sport competitively or for leisure. In addition, the academy will also offer a large number of marine related training courses, both classrooms based and on the water.
