The most impressive angling achievements from around the globe are now available inside the 2023 IGFA World Record Game Fishes published by The International Game Fish Association.

As the world's most definitive publication of recreational angling records and the organization's signature membership benefit, the 2023 edition of IGFA World Record Game Fishes includes comprehensive information on all freshwater, saltwater and fly-fishing world records for All-Tackle, Line Class, Tippet Class, Junior & Smallfry and All-Tackle Length categories, including new world records set within the last year.

First published in 1943, the 80th edition of IGFA World Record Game Fishes features a striking black marlin on the cover by renowned Australian artist and owner of Marine Graphics Ink, Nick Hannan. Inside, members will find the comprehensive listing of IGFA World Records and Slam & Trophy Clubs as well as feature articles by industry authorities including a comprehensive history of mothership operations in Run to Mother by Sam White, a story of a wild trout fishery amid stunning scenery in Return to Yellowstone by Tom Olivo, and the enigma that defies all expectations in Demystifying the Permit by Jonathan Olch.

"The 2023 edition of World Record Game Fishes is a testament to the IGFA's longstanding commitment to sportsmanship, rulemaking, ethical angling and the conservation of game fish populations worldwide," said IGFA President Jason Schratwieser. "We're proud to distribute this landmark 80th edition to our members around the world, who are the most passionate anglers on the planet and the driving force behind everything we do."
