Sydney Harbour played host to some of the most exciting racing in SailGP history last weekend, as we witnessed the resurgence of Quentin Delapierre's France which dominated fleet racing to be crowned the overall event winner.

Heavy winds of almost 50 km/h challenged the nine-strong fleet, resulting in plenty of close calls, dramatic penalties and stand out performances. France battled back from a lackluster performance in Singapore to scoop a hat-trick of race wins, while Jimmy Spithill’s United States and home town heroes Australia rounded out the event podium.

The victory means France moves back into third on the overall Championship leaderboard, but with just 12 points separating New Zealand in second and the U.S. in sixth, there’s everything to play for at the ITM New Zealand Sail Grand Prix | Christchurch on March 18-19.

You can relive all this and much more with our extended highlights of the KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix | Sydney
