A number of the models in the Haines Hunter range come in two different general configurations, soft top - much like a convertible car on the road or as a hard top - a boat with a normal fixed roof or hard top.

The 660 comes in three configurations. It is available as a soft top, SF660 or an open hard top with open forward cabin, SS660 or an open hard top with lockable forward cabin, SS660C.

HQ's Bob Mirabito gives us an in-depth rundown on the Haines Hunter SS660 - a great weekender and hardcore fishing machine.

Whether you're into deep sea fishing or long weekends away with the family, the 660 is the ideal boat. It can be spec'd with a range of factory options from electric toilet, Ultralon U-Dek flooring, live bait tank, game poles to automatic capstans, and even a 2-burner gas cooker.
