First 36 has her first test in Denmark

Phil Sharp, a sailor famous for pushing the limits of himself and any boats he steps on, went to complete a task on his bucket list this autumn - race the Silverrudder challenge of the Sea.

After a successful Mini 650 campaign, winning the Route du Rhum on Class 40 and being in the midst of his IMOCA60 campaign, joining the largest solo race in the world, mostly sailed by amateurs seemed like a holiday. But it turned out even hardened offshore racers can find enough challenge and satisfaction in a 24 hour race, when they join with a boat like the First 36.
