C144s ACE christened: Conrad Shipyard celebrates in Gdansk

by Conrad Shipyard 14 Dec 2022 04:37 NZDT

December 5, 2022, saw the official christening ceremony of the largest vessel in the history of Conrad Shipyard - the C114S ACE. The event was attended by everyone involved in the yacht's construction, including the designers, shipowner, and shipyard representatives.

After a successful construction and launch in October, the spectacular ACE was finally presented in its full glory before a larger audience. The superyacht was built for an experienced Swiss customer who entrusted the construction of his dream boat to the Conrad Shipyard.

The official christening ceremony took place at the Hilton Hotel in Gdansk and was attended by numerous guests, including the yacht's owner and Conrad's employees. The ceremony began with a speech from Conrad's CEO Mikolaj Król, who described ACE as the pioneer of a new and groundbreaking line of luxury superyachts of this length.

The event was accompanied by several visits aboard the yacht, which was moored in front of the hotel. With dramatic illumination and a dazzling presence, ACE was the real jewel of the evening.

The event was preceded by a visit from journalists, who had the opportunity to tour both the yacht and the Conrad facility, accompanied by the shipyard's president. The shipyard's latest project amazed representatives of the international press, who were full of admiration for the development of the Polish yachting industry.

Another event took place the day before for the company's employees at the Hilton Hotel in Gdansk.

ACE benefits from the work of many prominent European companies. The exterior of the yacht was designed by the prestigious Reymond Langton studio in close collaboration with the Netherlands' Diana Yacht Design, which oversaw the naval architecture and engineering. Milan-based M2 Atelier was responsible for the interior design, creating a truly bespoke décor.

During the event, guests had the unique opportunity to see the magnificent yacht for the first time with her lighting and exterior outfitting completed. With this state-of-the-art design, ACE is an ideal way for Conrad Shipyard to enter the new decade.
