Neom, Saudi Arabia is firmly on the event map after four consecutive days of excellent conditions, delivering sensational and heavily contested Freestyle finals in both the men's and women's competitions on Saturday.

Claudia Leon's unmatched consistency in the women's final against multiple world champions and the vice world champion saw the Spaniard win her very first world tour event - a very well received achievement for this popular athlete.

Soares, from a small village in the northern state of Ceará in Brazil, had only been able to make it to this event at all thanks to a trip supported by tour sponsors Qatar Airways, was overcome with emotion, to make it two event wins from two this season.

He is now firmly in the driving seat to take the world title in Brazil in November.
