Registration now open for GKA Youth events in Germany and Spain

Registration is now open for the two upcoming GKA Youth events of the 2025 season. First up is the GKA Youth Big Air Kite World Championship in St. Peter Ording, Germany.

This event takes place from the 20-24 August. Following that is the GKA Youth Kite World Championships Tarifa from the 15 September. This event is for Freestyle and Kite-Surf categories. Both events will have U14, U16 and U19 divisions. You can find out all the details about these events via the link below.

GKA Youth Big Air World Championship St. Peter Ording, Germany

This event will showcase the world's top young kiteboarders in the discipline of Youth BIG AIR. The emphasis in Germany will always be for Big Air tricks and the judging criteria that surrounds this discipline. The judging criteria mainly is oriented in going as high as possible, with amplitude, extremity and combining technical difficulty manoeuvres.

Wind conditions will play a factor in what can be performed however hooked in manoeuvres will have the emphasis and Big Air moves will be the goal of what the judges are looking for and the criteria that will be prioritised. A fair and consistent event that champions skill, style, and creativity within Youth Big Air and its development. Find out more about this event here.

GKA Youth Kite World Championships Tarifa, Spain

This single-stop event will determine the world's top young riders in Twintip Freestyle and Kite-Surf across the U14, U16, and U19 categories. Known as Europe's kiteboarding hub, Tarifa delivers reliable wind conditions and an unbeatable atmosphere, making it the perfect stage for this elite youth competition.

Tarifa will be the ONLY Freestyle Twintip and Kite-Surf Youth competition that will happen in 2025 for the YOUTH. Tarifa will crown the Youth World Champion in both Freestyle and Kite-Surf men and women. Find out more about this event here.
