New! Come to Saint-Malo to discover a unique collection in the colours of IMOCA. The result of a collaboration with our partners Bermudes and Armor-Lux, this range features both technical items and a series of must-haves, including the iconic Paimpol jumper and the famous smock.

The symbol of a much-recognised brand, the flashy turquoise of the IMOCA lettering echoes what is displayed at the top of the mainsails on these 18-metre monohulls designed to circumnavigate the globe.

It is at the start village for the Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe (25 October-6 November), within the event's official boutiques, that the public will be able to preview this capsule collection, which will also be available online soon.

Everything begins on a start line

Partner to the IMOCA GLOBE SERIES Championship since 2018, Bermudes supports the Sea to See team responsible for organising the season's opening race every year. An event that is often very sociable and extremely sporty, it is particularly relished by the skippers. Some six boats competed against one another in the first "Bermudes 1000 Race" back in 2018, and last May there were no fewer than 24 lining up for the start of what is now called the "Guyader Bermudes 1000 Race". With 37 solo sailors in 'Le Rhum' this year, the great success of IMOCA is truly impressive and the presence of loyal partners is clearly one of the keys to its success.

And this continues on the pontoons

Since 2020, Bermudes and Armor-Lux have been the outfitters of choice for the IMOCA staff, which currently boasts a team of ten people in charge of the Class measurement, the championship, sustainability and promotion. Combining maritime spirit and strong innovation, particularly in the face of the environmental challenge, Bermudes and Armor-Lux, whose reputation extends way beyond Brittany, are perfectly in keeping with the values supported by the Class.

"Our story began with events, then we became Official Suppliers to the team piloting this Class and what is a reference brand in offshore racing. Now, here we are gathered in Saint-Malo to launch this capsule collection for the public. It's an exciting development, which we're very proud of. Our collaboration relies on a great human relationship, commitment and innovation, areas of success that are also reflected among the IMOCA projects and the skippers," explains Mélanie Kerguenou, head of the Bermudes brand, Armor-Lux group.

"Offering products that are elegant and high-performance like our boats is the perfect balance for IMOCA and Bermudes and Armor-Lux have certainly fulfilled the brief. In addition to the pride we feel at always going the extra mile to give our supporters something special at these very popular major events, I'd also like to highlight the loyalty of a partner which has supported the IMOCA GLOBE SERIES since day one. A massive congratulations for showing our brand to advantage and our sincere thanks for all that Bermudes and Armor-Lux are doing alongside us", adds Antoine Mermod, president of IMOCA.
