Applications for Expressions of Interest are now open for this coming winter's training run by SWYSA.
Running at a variety of venues through the south west, to give experience of different conditions, the program is aimed at sailors aged 10-18 who have started racing, and more experienced sailors improving their racing skills.
This year there will be four separate Fleets: ILCA, RS Tera and Topper for more experienced sailors; and a Menagerie fleet for sailors who are starting racing. The Tera fleet will incorporate the South West Tera Squad. There will be 6-10 dates through the winter, mainly Saturdays only; with two optional 2-day weekends sailing with larger fleets for Tera sailors.
The training is organised by SWYSA, and will be delivered by experienced, RYA accredited coaches
In order to gauge interest, SWYSA are now inviting expressions of interest. This is not binding but intended to help plan the program. If you are interested in principle, please complete the Expression of Interest (link below) as soon as possible, and in any event by 3rd September. More details (including dates, cost and venues) will then follow.
