Strongly characterised style, elegance, building quality and ability to innovate: these are some of the features that characterise the Capoforte brand, which present a versatile range and is preparing to make its début at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2022, from 6th to 11th September. On this occasion, the Italian brand is presenting a unique model, SX280i "Collezione".

  • The Italian brand debuts at Cannes Yachting Festival and presents a single-edition model, SX280i "Collezione"
  • SX200, CX240 and CX270 models will also be on display. At the stand you will also be able to admire the scale model of SQ240i, the first electric hull by Capoforte.

This is not a limited series, just a single model, which will not be built again. Some of its materials appear enhanced mainly as a result of the colours: hull and deck are painted in an elegant Blue Whale, which matches well with the rich Cognac cushions on the deck and the Sunset Gold dashboard.

"'Collezione' should not be understood as it is in the fashion world, but indicates the desire to collect a unique piece, dedicated to enthusiasts who want to own a product that can never be confused with another," explains the designer Christian Grande. "The ability to create models such as SX280i 'Collezione' is a perfect example of the constructive, technical, and stylistic capabilities of the Capoforte brand."

SX280i "Collezione" is the ideal choice for an eclectic owner, who wants to alternate water sports with days of pure relaxation at sea, and who desires a boat that shares their versatility: high-performance, comfortable and extremely elegant.

An ideal boat for those who want to share a new way of boating with their family and friends, thanks to the careful design of the deck and the innovative details, such as the padded edge of the cockpit, which guarantees extra safety and comfort and highlights the shipyard manufacturing skills.

With its large swimming platform in the stern, SX280i "Collezione" stands out for the comfort it offers and the layout, carefully studied in every detail. Here are original solutions dedicated to owners looking for a distinctive and unique boat, a boat designed to enhance contact with the sea and conviviality. Its finishing touches - such as a well-sized cockpit, in which several people can sit comfortably - may turn into a small living room, once on the water.

High performance and comfort when cruising

Climbing aboard SX280i "Collezione", you will find a large swimming platform in the stern, as well as the engine compartment, which is covered with a sundeck cushion and can be extended by rotating the rear backrest. The "I" of the name actually stands for "Inboard", to underline the choice of a sterndrive motor. The central area has a comfortable L-shaped sofa facing the wheelhouse, which has a double ergonomically shaped seat that is part of the equipped central unit. The bridge is protected by a large windscreen all around.

The sheltered side aisles, typical of centre console boats, allow people to move easily and safely in the bow, where the boatbuilders have created a comfortable sunbed ahead of the console. This sunbed, with a C-shaped sofa along the entire bow, makes this area ideal for relaxing even when the boat is moving.

Great attention to design and detail have not eclipsed the technical features of Capoforte SX280i "Collezione". With 350 HP, it can reach a top speed of 39 knots and a cruising speed of 21 knots.

The versatility of the Capoforte brand

At the stand, visitors will also be able to admire three other Capoforte models, SX200, CX240 and CX270. But Capoforte is also synonymous with versatility, as demonstrated by its first electric model, SQ240i, of which a scale model can be seen at the Cannes Yachting Festival stand. For the official début, however, a little more patience is needed: the live début will take place at the Genoa Boat Show 2022, from 22 to 27 September.
