The 7 - we make a very fine yacht even better

Since we launched our Y7 in 2019 we are happy by her success. The model is very popular with owners who want to sail a fast mega yacht with a small crew or even alone.

After three years, more than 10 yachts delivered and thousands of nautical miles, several YYachts owners and our technical team have developed some solutions to make a fine yacht even finer. As our yachts are also interesting for some owners who race, we have slightly changed the helm and the position of the winches and also our self-tacking jib and its position. Since every yacht we deliver is unique, we have already developed many solutions that we have integrated into various layouts.

A further development in terms of technology is the possibility of adding a third winch each side as well as opening the bathing platform via the "Y on Watch" app. Thus arriving by tender this can be done during the transfer with the mobile phone - this is our understanding of modern luxury.

The interior of the Y7 - like the first model - is elegant and timeless, for which YYachts has already received the prestigious Wallpaper Design Award. Some of the upholstery, furniture and details, however, have been given more pronounced curves by the YYachts design team in cooperation with a famous industry designer, resulting in a more maritime overall impression. The doors can also be given rounded corners, giving the Y7 an even more ship-like appearance on the inside. A first example of this look can be seen at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival.

Dirk Zademack, Managing Partner at YYachts, says: "We have adapted some aspects of the Y7 with careful consideration. Of course, the first Y7 "Bella" is still state of the art. It's no coincidence that the first two Y7 owner are building a second yacht with us."
