It will be four years since the Tall Ships graced the waters of the River Derwent, but they're coming back! The AWBF is ecstatic to announce that Soren Larsen is the first Tall Ship to confirm they will be heading south early next year for the AWBF 2023!

The 1949 Brigantine built in Northern Denmark, will depart its home port of Sydney on the 31st January 2023 to head to Hobart to attend the AWBF. The voyaging Tall Ship has circumnavigated the globe twice and was the Flagship of the First Fleet Re-enactment, celebrating Australia's Bicentennial in 1988. Soren Larsen also attended the 2013 Tall Ships Festival hosted by AWBF in 2013, and the AWBF in 2019.

The two masted square rigger will also be offering day sailings and evening sails during the AWBF 2023. See the full itinerary here.
