Wahoo is a Schionning G-Force 1400 Catamaran run by Bill Gibbs and his crew. This year they had a really impressive sail from Newport to Ensenada! Gibbs and his crew beat Wahoo's previous record by 90 minutes, despite a mishap with their spinnaker, which happened to blow out in San Diego.

Bill Gibbs now has his name etched 31 times onto five Newport to Ensenada trophies, according to nosa.org.

The crew set multiple personal bests and took home five trophies!

  • Tommy Bahama Best Corrected - Overall
  • Stern Choy Trophy for Best Corrected - Catamaran
  • President of NOSA Trophy - Best Corrected Multihull
  • Alice Pursell Perpetual Trophy - First to Finish Multihull
