The LNI Livorno hosted one of the J/24 spring series in Livorno, Italy for a fleet of sixteen boats as part of the International Sailing Week of the Naval Academy- City of Livorno.

With six victories, Ignazio Bonanno's LA SUPERBA from the Centro Vela Altura Napoli of the Navy (crewed by Alfredo Branciforte, Francesco Picaro, Simone Scontrino, Vincenzo Vano) won by a landslide, repeating last year's success in the Labronian waters in front of Ardenza. Second was the UNITED crew from Hamburg, Germany, and third was Pietro Diamanti's JAMAICA team.

The prohibitive weather conditions, the driving rain, and the Ostro wind prevented the crews from going out to sea on Saturday, leaving the ranking unchanged. While on the final day on Sunday, the wind between 15 and 20 knots and lots of sun allowed the regatta RC/ PRO to complete four races.

The next regatta for the J/24 crews is the long-awaited Italian J/24 Championship - Porto Ercole 2022 which will be organized by the Circolo Nautico e della Vela Argentario from 11 to 15 May in Porto Ercole- Cala Galera (there will be ten tests with a warning signal for the premiere on 12 May at 1 pm).
