Whenever we conjure an image of sailing the South Pacific, it's almost inevitable that an iconic name like Bora Bora or Tahiti will float to the surface.

However, recently there has been a great deal of attention drawn to these islands, and much of it unflattering. In this report three cruisers who have cruised long-term in French Polynesia weigh in with their views on the current situation in the islands for visiting yachts.
