Evo Yachts chooses Navigare 2021 for the world preview of Evo R4 XT

by Evo Yachts 21 Nov 2021 02:50 PST

Evo Yachts, the futuristic brand of Blue Emme Yachts, has chosen the Naples International Boat Show for the first public unveiling of Evo R4 XT, on show alongside two other models. Following a series of major international successes, including the world preview in Cannes of fleet flagship EvoV8, the Mercuri brothers' shipyard has now decided to "play at home" and place their trust in a local event with great potential.

Technology, design and a desire to experiment with new ways of experiencing the sea. These are the ingredients in Evo R4 XT, the latest addition to the Evo Yachts fleet, which will be previewed at the 34th Naples International Boat Show from November 20 to 28.

The new 13-metre yacht is the result of collaboration between Blu Emme Yachts, Besenzoni and designer Valerio Rivellini, three protagonists in the sector who stand for high-adrenaline performance, technological excellence and unprecedented design solutions, all promises that R4 XT fulfils in every way. The model is the world's only sport walkaround to be fitted with a totally custom multifunction stern platform, developed by Besenzoni exclusively for the shipyard based on a design by Valerio Rivellini. In addition to increasing the boat's length by a whole metre, this transformer tender lift enables the entire length of the stern platform to dip fully underwater. "I wanted to create something new and had this precise image in mind: a boat that emerges from the water," explained the designer and engineer. "The Yard believed in the project and Besenzoni helped us make it a reality."

Collaboration with Besenzoni also provided other new solutions that make Evo R4 XT one-of-a-kind, in a high-powered partnership that has already put Blu Emme Yachts in the final at the Boat Builder Awards 2021, in the category "Collaborative solution between boat or superyacht builder and its Supply Chain partner".

"The Naples International Boat Show is an event we are particularly fond of, on account of both its strong bonds with our local area and its ability to attract a very wide-ranging public. We have seen this show grow over the years and believe it is the perfect setting for the launch of Evo R4 XT, which springs from a passion for the sea that everyone at this event shares," commented the Mercuri brothers, owners of Blu Emme Yachts, which will be exhibiting three models from the Evo Yachts fleet at the Naples Boat Show. Alongside the new R4 XT, in fact, will be Evo R4 WA and Evo R6 Open, all three in the water ready for test drives and sea trials.

Evo Yachts will be at the Naples International Boat Show (Molo Luise, Mergellina) from November 20 to 28, 2021.
