Cast your vote for the 2022 RYA and Yachts & Yachting Club of the Year Award supported by Gallagher

Voting is now open for the 2022 RYA and Yachts & Yachting Club of the Year Award supported by Gallagher. The annual award recognises the outstanding achievement of sailing clubs across the UK and promotes the hard work and dedication that goes into running a successful club.

The RYA Awards Panel have selected 10 finalists for 2022. Read about each finalist and cast your vote.

  • Aberdeen and Stonehaven Yacht Club (Scotland)
  • Arnside Sailing Club (North West)
  • Ballyholme Yacht Club (Northern Ireland)
  • Brading Haven Yacht Club (South)
  • Budworth Sailing Club (North West)
  • Chelmarsh Sailing Club (Midlands)
  • Exe Sailing Club (South West)
  • Flushing Sailing Club (South West)
  • Lymington Town Sailing Club (South)
  • Teesdale Sailing and Watersports Club (North East)
Four of the finalists were also recognised for achievements in the following areas:
  • Heart of the community - Arnside Sailing Club
  • Modern and innovative - Lymington Town Sailing Club
  • Sustainability - Brading Haven Yacht Club
  • Inclusive and open to all - Chelmarsh Sailing Club
Rob Clark, RYA Director of Sport Development, said: "We've learnt over the years that each club is different and all have their strengths. It's great to hear the stories of these clubs and congratulations to each of them for making our final 10. Now it's up to you to vote for the winner."

Voting will close on Monday 24 January 2022. The winner will be announced at the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show.
