This year's Biograd Boat Show achieved record attendance despite the requirement of Covid Passports and heavy rain on Friday.

Opening day, Thursday and Saturday all posted record visitor numbers, for a total attendance of 18.524. Another surprise was the general consensus by exhibitors that by far, this show has the most foreign visitors ever.

The show hosted more than 300 registered exhibitors, and many world and Croatian vessel premieres. Nautical journalists were surprised at the number of premiere vessels as it was much higher than officially declared. The big winners at this year's show were Croatian boat builders, as they benefited from the lack of vessel supply and higher costs from established international brands. This was very evident for local builders of larger motor yachts, with many contracts signed on the spot, and deposits paid.

The Biograd B2B activities were a huge success, with a very well attended 5th Nautical Days organized by the Croatian Chamber of Economy, as well as the hugely successful Croatia Charter Expo with more than 100 fleet providers and charter agencies conducting more business than ever over the 2 day event.

The organizers had taken the decision to require Covid Passports for entry to the event in order to promote safety, and this turned out to be the right choice. Fewer restrictions at the show added to the charged atmosphere. The town of Biograd truly came alive, as most restaurants stayed open and there were many small gatherings bringing optimism to all that participated.
