Superyacht Australia hosted its second 'Endless Summer Party' at the Coral Sea Marina Resort in the Whitsundays last Thursday. With a colourful tropical theme, guests arrived dressed in sunglasses, loud shirts, swimwear and leis ready to relax and enjoy meeting others in the industry. Held in the Lookout Lounge, an upstairs venue at the marina, the sweeping views out across the yachts and the bay beyond added to the party's ambience.

The event was very successful with over 140 party goers in attendance including crew from 17 superyachts and representatives from sponsors and organisers. Guests dined on delicious freshly cooked sliders and the drinks were more than plentiful. Live music and a DJ complemented the evening with some crews hitting the dance floor later in the evening.

This year Superyacht Australia has hosted two 'Endless Summer' parties for captains and crew of superyachts in Australia to celebrate the conclusion of both the northern and southern cruising seasons. Held six months apart with the Sydney event in April and the Great Barrier Reef in October, the event provides a valuable platform for crews to get together in a relaxed social atmosphere.

David Good, CEO, Superyacht Australia said "Although this year has had its challenges, the domestic superyacht market is still growing. By continuing to host events that bring crews together for an informal social evening, it demonstrates our ongoing support for the local fleet. Our next event is the 'Superyacht Australia Soirée' to be held in Sydney on February 26, 2022, where we will once again be bringing a strong line up of superyachts together with potential charterers and owners."

Sponsors of the Whitsundays 'Endless Summer Party' included Coral Sea Marina Resort; Benetti Yachts; Champion Crewing & Concierge; Pantaenius; Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard; Rivergate Marina & Shipyard; SuperYacht Group Great Barrier Reef; Boatstyle and Quality Marine Clothing.
