The second round of the Platu Championship of Thailand will be held at Ocean Marina Yacht Club, Jomtien Beach (Pattaya) will being held 9-10 October. Full details, entry forms, dates, NORs etc can be found at www.yachtsinthailand.com in the Championship 2021 section. The Platu regattas provide the very best, close, competitive, exciting racing.

Charter boats are essential to the racing here, and the quality is second to none. They are all maintained in racing trim, and all able to win in the right hands. As well as supplying the boats, organisers are “here to help” before and during the regatta with their preparation to your own standards within the Class Rules.

Club racing: never mind whether you are new to the sport, or an experienced sailor looking to join in the fun, these guys can help you integrate with the Platu sailors on both the social and sailing front!

Thailand is a truly great place to sail. The marina in Pattaya is top quality, not reliant on tides, and racing is within sight of the marina. It is hot and sunny almost every day of the year, with a water temperature of 28 degrees C year round. Pattaya is a most modern city, and has superb beaches, shopping and nightlife. Fun for all the family amongst friendly locals and a low cost of living.
