Princess Yachts, the UK's leading luxury yacht manufacturer, has announced a five-yacht line-up at this year's Southampton International Boat Show, including the dynamic Princess V55, the sporty S62 and S66 sportbridges, plus the F45 and award-winning F55 flybridge models.

  • V55, F45, F55, S62, S66 on display
  • Record sales of the 'superfly' Princess X95
  • Princess continue commitment to sustainability and reduced environmental impact

Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Princess is celebrating a successful year of sales, with 20 units of the 'superfly' Princess X95 ordered over the past 18 months. Earlier this year, the company also announced the launch of the all-new Princess Y72 who becomes the latest addition to the award-winning, sophisticated Y Class range. Indoor and outdoor living areas are optimised to create sociable yet practical spaces, whilst powerful twin MAN V12 1650mhp engines provide up to 34 knots of power. Featuring the very latest in Princess exterior design, interior finishes and beautifully sculpted exterior forms, she is fitted with expansive fulllength hull windows, also seen on the Y95, due to launch in 2022.

The Princess Y95 becomes the flagship of the Y Class range. With Princess's latest hull form and an efficient wave-piercing bow, she instantly provides classleading seakeeping, reaching speeds up to 24 knots. With a spacious garage and transformer bathing platform and the option of a beach club, maximum enjoyment of time on the water is assured.

As the UK's largest yacht manufacturer, the company continues to place sustainability at the heart of its business, aligning its manufacturing processes to become more sustainable, implementing more responsible waste management systems and continuing their support towards the Marine Conservation Society, the UK's leading marine environment, non-for-profit organisation.

Following on from the huge success of the Ocean Photography Awards (OPA) in 2020, Princess has announced that they will once again be involved with this year's awards. With a shared passion for sustainability and conservation, OPA presents a unique opportunity for all ocean photographers - divers, surfers and sailors alike - to share their art with the world and highlight the importance of ocean conservation.

The Ocean Photography Awards is produced by Oceanographic Magazine, in partnership with Blancpain and Princess Yachts, and in support of SeaLegacy.

This month, Princess has also announced some exciting news about partnerships and new innovative projects, including the Hybrid X95 and a brand partnership with Salcombe Gin.

V55

The V55 sports yacht nestles in the heart of the iconic V Class line-up, with the addition of the V50, V60, V65 and V78 models that joined the existing V40. Her innovative V shaped hull provides the foundation to the V55's agility and ability to deliver on a clear brief for the modern sports yacht owner's demands - elegance of form, quality of materials, perfect practicality and inspiring dynamics.

With new standards of refinement in interior fixtures, fittings and definition of space, and a striking new exterior design language recognisable by the new exterior V Class windows and rakish profile, there is a clear purpose of design that clients will appreciate.

F45

The Princess F45 flybridge delivers unparalleled space, design quality and flexibility in a compact flybridge yacht that features a full-beam owner's cabin, extended flybridge and a unique electronically-controlled sliding transom, which increases the size of the cockpit area at the touch of a button by 60 cm.

Like its stablemates, the F45 is packed with technical innovations that ensure this compact yacht feels as spacious above deck as it does below. Together with its elegant full length hull windows, beautifully resolved surfacing, and unique design details, the F45 will establish itself as the benchmark small flybridge yacht

F55

The award-winning Princess F55 flybridge delivers magnificent performance and uncompromising comfort in equal measure. Designed for outdoor living, her 17.80m2 flybridge features a convertible sunbed, twin helm seats, a wetbar and ergonomic dining areas.

Below deck, both the master stateroom and forward cabin feature large double beds whilst the starboard guest cabin with two single beds can also be converted in to a double.

Together with its expansive saloon and hull windows, that flood each deck with light, this oasis of calm can then be propelled to a top speed approaching 33 knots.

S66

The S66's sporting credentials are underlined by a lightweight deep-V hull coupled with the latest MAN V12-1400 engines to deliver 38 knots. Princess Design Studio's design language is evidenced by the sweeping panoramic glazing sections on both the hull and superstructure. Designed for outdoor lifestyles, the S66 offers generously appointed deck areas, which include a spacious foredeck seating area, whilst her hydraulic bathing platform and 3.3m tender garage become the perfect base for water sports.

S62

Like its larger siblings, the S62 is built upon Princess's renowned V-shaped hull and coupled with the latest MAN V8 1200 engines, meaning outstanding seakeeping and speeds of up to 38 knots. Designed from the outset for a sporting lifestyle, an electro-hydraulic bathing platform creates a convenient launch system for a 3.3m tender, a jet ski, or simply a secluded base from which to swim.

The S62 is designed for entertaining alfresco with an aft galley and open-plan dining area. Below deck, six guests are comfortably accommodated across an en-suite full-beam owner's stateroom and two further guest cabins with the option of an additional crew cabin aft.

Visitors to Southampton International Boat Show will find Princess Yachts on display at stand E055 from the 10th - 19th September 2021.
