Since its very first edition in 2011, Sailing Arabia - The Tour has grown in stature to become the region's premier annual race and Oman a favourite winter destination for sailors around the globe.

The 11th edition will take place from 24 November to 5 December 2021, following a route which showcases the beauty of the Sultanate of Oman.

Discover the authentic Oman: Bordered by the Arabian Gulf, Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea, the Sultanate of Oman has a total area of approximately 309,500 km2, making it the third largest country in the Arabian Peninsula.

Continue to sail more or start your season 2022 racing in Oman's ideal wind conditions: Whilst Northern Europe is in the midst of winter, Oman offers outstanding warm weather racing for the Diam 24 od. During the event, top amateurs and professionals from Europe, North America and beyond will compete in warm, sunny weather alongside the Sultanate of Oman's finest sailors and up and coming talent.

One design multihull sportboat: Varied wind speeds provide exhilarating race conditions, as each team competes on an identical Diam 24od, Easy to use, you can come with your D24od or rent one on site. The preparation, teamwork, technical skill, strategy and absolute professionalism determine the result, making Sailing Arabia - The Tour a battle of wits designed to bring out the best in competing crews.

The Route 2021

Combining fast paced in-port stadium competition with the only multi-stage coastal raid racing in the Middle East, Sailing Arabia - The Tour delivers a true test of sailing skill against the impressive backdrop of the Sultanate's maritime heritage.

Entry package: Entry fee for three sailors

  • Crew accommodation and catering from 24 November to 5 December 2021 (inclusive)
  • Crew transport of up to four items between venues and event hotels
  • Crew luggage transport between event hotels
  • The loan of one gennaker (mandatory)
  • Media package (video and digital photo portfolio)
  • Event branding: hull stickers, jib stickers, gennaker branding
  • Boat logistics and shipping
  • Safety equipment as per race requirements (not including navigation equipment)
  • Logistics of trucking boats between venues
  • Repair of equipment within warranty failure
