Horizon Yachts to exhibit at the Newport International Boat Show

by Horizon Yachts 17 Aug 2021 21:38 PDT

Horizon Yachts will command a high-profile spot during the annual Newport International Boat Show, with the head-turning, high-volume FD87 Bella Tu on display. One of the first builds introduced in the acclaimed Cor D. Rover-designed Fast Displacement (FD) Series, the FD87 is the Series' top-performing model, sought after for its voluminous interior, five-stateroom layout that includes an on-deck master suite, and spacious beach club.

Celebrating 50 years, the Newport International Boat Show is one of the country's largest regional boat shows and arguably the most picturesque, as a gathering of boats and yachts of all sizes in a 13-acre setting that is quintessentially New England. This will be the first Horizon FD87 to appear at the show, which will allow visitors the opportunity to experience the spacious layout and ample deck areas firsthand while discussing the numerous options for customization available to clients seeking a new build.

Horizon's willingness to incorporate owner customizations spurred the success of the FD Series, which now offers eight models from the manageable FD75 to the FD125 superyacht. Offering megayacht living in an easy-to-handle size range, Bella Tu has been specified with a variety of multifunctional amenities. She features a convertible dining table in the salon that easily folds up into a breakfast bar as well as sliding bow tables and an aft deck dining table with Hi/Lo functionality. An impressive interior lighting package dramatically enhances the spaciousness throughout, giving this yacht a modern loft-style interior that complements her contemporary exterior styling.

She has been specified with an enclosed bridge and a semi-walkaround side deck, which maximizes the interior and exterior entertainment spaces on the upper deck. A full bar with a grill is situated just aft of the skylounge on the boat deck. The forward deck offers an entirely separate entertainment space fitted with a sprawling U-shaped settee, sunpads, and - another unique design feature - a refrigerator/freezer/icemaker and plenty of storage, as well as removable sunshades.

Bella Tu is available for sale through Horizon's preferred partner, Yacht Connexion. For an appointment to view the yacht or to discuss upcoming inventory or new build options during the show, please contact Horizon Yacht USA at +1 561-721-4850 or email .
