If there's one thing we've learned over the last six months publishing articles on SWS it's that the events that do best are created by enthusiasts on the ground, having an idea and then making it happen.

There's no Royal Yacht Clubs involved, there's not too many committee meetings, and the focus is on participation and enjoyment and if you happen to win something on the way then thats a bonus. During the last couple of weeks in Queensland there have been a couple of events that have ticked all these boxes... Being a Victorian I didn't get to go along but watching these two little videos I wish I had. The production values are low....but the enjoyment levels appear through the roof!
