As part of Southampton Sailing Week 2021, solicitors at Dutton Gregory are not only delighted to confirm their role as sponsors of the event's 'Property Cup' race, but also preparing to win back the title from being its first ever winners.

After a hiatus in 2020 due to Coronavirus restrictions, Southampton Sailing Week is back and, with it, the support of one of the region's leading law firms. Dutton Gregory.

The week, organised by Rees Leisure in association with Sunsail, RSYC Racing and Harbour Hotels, is now in its fourth year, bringing together sailing enthusiasts from businesses and organisations for a programme of races to showcase all that Southampton's vibrant waterfront and the beautiful waters of The Solent have to offer.

A fleet of up to 12 brand new Sunsail F41,0 yachts is set to take to the water on the Friday 9th July for a day of networking, client entertainment and office relationship building. Having won the event's first ever 'Property Cup' in 2017, Dutton Gregory took over its sponsorship in 2019 and is now proud to be returning as sponsor for a second year.

"Everyone has a brilliant time at Southampton Sailing Week and we are particularly excited to see the new fleet this year," says Partner and Head of Commercial Property at Dutton Gregory Solicitors, Denise Bull. "After the year we have had, it will be wonderful to see and spend time with our clients and colleagues in person whilst enjoying the fresh air and beautiful coast where we live and work."

"It's fantastic to have Dutton Gregory back on board as Property Cup Sponsor," says Southampton Sailing Week Event Director Abi Knapton. "We loved working with them last time and are very pleased they are coming back do it all again. We do have a few last-minute spaces available for those who want to get on board, so welcome anyone who fancies joining in."

Attendees should be aware that Denise and her team are also fully embracing the competitive spirit of the races ahead. 'If anyone is considering coming out for the day to race against us, we would welcome the challenge, but we are looking to take home the trophy this year!"
