Mission Critical Electronics' marine division hires new Product Manager and European Sales Manager

by Mission Critical Electronics 4 Feb 2021 18:45 AEDT

The Marine Division of Mission Critical Electronics (MCE) has added a new product manager, Roger Jin, and European sales manager, Olaf Klop to work with its marine brands of ASEA Power Systems, Newmar and Xantrex. Jin and Klop became the newest employees in December of 2020.

Born and raised in Shanghai, Jin first came to the U.S. 15 years ago, receiving his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Tech and M.B.A from Northwestern. Bringing with him over a decade's worth of experience in product management, business development and engineering, Jin has worked for various companies including Cummins Engine, Omega Engineering and MadgeTech. Based at MCE headquarters in Huntington Beach, Calif., Jin will use his broad experience with a strong focus on understanding customer needs to deliver market leading solutions to our marine customers.

Based in The Netherlands, Klop has a wealth of experience within the marine and safety industries, having held various senior positions over the years. Klop holds a degree in International Business and Management Studies. His extensive product and marine market knowledge are a perfect fit to enable him in supporting our customers and growing Mission Critical Electronics' business across Europe.

Jin and Klop will report to Marine Division president Richard Gaudet, who shared his thoughts on the new hires: "I am very pleased to have Roger and Olaf join our talented Marine Division team. Their combined education, professional experience and customer centric mindset are the perfect complement to our team. As we make investments in new products their contributions will ensure we deliver market leading solutions to our customers and Olaf's appointment strengthens our global presence for our customers."

MCE is pleased to welcome these two new managers to the team.
