We are happy to have Mark Thornton and LakeErieWX performing a weather briefing for us and the 2020 Bayview Mackinac Race. Given the suite of challenges we have this year, Mark has been gracious to perform this briefing via his website.

Find Mark's forecast and resources here.

As you can see in the video on that page, the primary weather briefing will be made available on the afternoon or evening of Friday, July 10th, 2020. A quick update will be made Saturday morning to address any changes.

Daily forecasts will begin on Monday, July 6th.

Mark has been a trusted and accurate source for weather information for the entirety of his time doing forecasts for the Race and we thank him for another year of helping us out and for his ability to adapt his services to our current situation.

As we say with all of these updates: Stay patient and stay flexible. The only known this year is there will be more changes.
