By retracting flush into the deck when not required, pull-up cleats enhance a boat's appearance and safety. A fully self-contained design makes installing 460 Series Pull-Up Cleats from Accon Marine an easy DIY project. Whether updating an existing boat or outfitting a new one, these cleats add class to any vessel in just minutes.

Made from 316 marine-grade stainless steel, 460 Series Pull-Up cleats come in 114mm, 152mm, 203mm and 254mm sizes. The various models handle mooring lines from 13 to 25mm. All have a mounded base that allows splashes or rainwater to run off the unit without pooling. Convenient integrated tabs make it easy to pull the cleat up, and a smooth top makes comfortable work of pushing it down flush to the deck after use.

Installation requires only painter's tape and a drill with a 22mm (7/8") hole saw. Simply mask out the area with tape and use the supplied template to mark the holes. Drill two 22mm (7/8") holes, remove the tape, and fit the cleat in place, securing it from below with included washers and locking nuts. A thread lock product such as Loctite helps complete the job.

To maintain, wash the cleat with soap and water to remove grime and dry with a soft cloth. A light spray coating of oil on moving parts helps this hardware provide a long service life.
