Among the 64 applicants, Seafloatech was selected to participate in the final of the Nautic 2019, Paris Boat Show innovation competition!

This is the first time that Seafloatech will be represented at the Nautic, which will be held between 7th-15th December in Porte de Versailles, Paris. Next month, this major event in the nautical sector will welcome 825 exhibitors representing more than 1300 brands, accredit 600 journalists and receive more than 200,000 visitors. Seafloatech will be located on the Innovations Space in Hall 1.

With in-depth knowledge of the sea, marinas and coastal preservation, the Seafloatech team specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of floating modules for yachting, water sports, industry and military uses.

The Seafloatech POD®, true "Prosthesis of the Sea" - winner of the MARIN HIGH-TECH Trophy for Innovation 2019 - is a stable, ecological, safe, reversible and adaptable system for all types of pontoons or ships.

The POD is connected to sea, lake and riverbeds using an ecological system (anchors, screws, sealing) and consists of a mast articulated at its base, which pistons in its upper part to minimize the effects of the tide.

Lionel Péan, founder and President of Seafloatech, says:

"Whilst in New Zealand in 1985, I was impressed by the organisation of their tourist anchorage areas, which integrated perfectly into the environment and made it possible to optimise ecological solutions and share services with users.

Since then, my very demanding job unfortunately prevented me from taking action. However, last year I decided to take the plunge and with a multidisciplinary team we compiled our experience, explored solutions and from there SEAFLOATECH was born."

The awards ceremony for the Paris Boat Show "Nautic 2019" Innovation Competition, will take place on Saturday 14th December in the afternoon. During this day, Seafloatech will present all its products to the public and the jury on the Nautic stage.
