Electric trailer winches: The best way to end your day

After a long day out on the water, do you find it hard work retrieving your boat? Does how long it takes annoy you? Do you worry about damage to the hull? Well, by upgrading to an electric trailer winch, you can get your boat back onto the trailer and back home faster - with less stress.

Most standard electric winches have basic features like being able to power in and free-wheel out. The winch motor pulls the boat on to the trailer. Free-wheel or float means gravity is used to float the boat into the water.

The exception to this is the Powerwinch 915, which has a power-out control that assists with releasing the boat into the water by slowly releasing the gear.

Which Powerwinch do I need?

A safety tip - don't rely on your winch to hold the boat on the trailer while travelling - that's not its job! Instead, use dedicated boat tie-downs to ensure the boat and trailer stay connected while you are driving on the road.

Our Powerwinch 712, 912 & 915 models are on sale now at a very affordable price.

Upgrade your Trailer Winch today!
