Before the start of the re-run race 2, there was sunshine and around 18 knots from the west on the course. By the time we started it had dropped to around 10 knots. Minutes after the start, there was a 50 degree shift to the right. With the whole fleet heading straight at the mark, the Race Officer abandoned the race and we came back for yet another go at race 2!

Finally the race got away with a Canadian boat falling victim to the black flag. There were plenty of shifts and pressure changes to keep the fleet on their toes. Dobbo and Waggers took the win easily. Keith and Nick took third with Isaac and Ollie in 6th.

Race 2 got away in slightly lighter airs. The local team (and occasional honorary brits at our Nationals) Joe and Tom, lead the race from start to finish. Isaac and Chris took 5th followed by Dobbo and Waggers in 6th.

Overall, Ian Dobson and Richard Wagstaff are in 2nd, Isaac Marsh and Ollie Davenport in 5th and Keith Walker and Nick Rees in 7th.
