Top coaches add a new dimension at Poole Week

Heading to launch at Poole Week © David Harding / www.sailingscenes.com

Poole Week is already known for its friendly, competitive racing in the great sailing waters of Poole Harbour. Other attractions that attract new competitors and bring the regulars back year after year include the wonderful views from Parkstone Yacht Club's new clubhouse, the event's family-friendly atmosphere, the lively social programme and much more.

Making a great event even better this year, top sailors and coaches in the form of Niall Myant (RYA 29er coach and Volvo Ocean Race commentator) and Annie Lush (no introduction needed) will be on the water for the benefit of the competitors. Niall and Annie will be observing and taking video footage of starts and mark roundings and providing feedback on the racing and boat-handling in the club's training room as soon as the fleets are back ashore. Coordination by the fleets should ensure that everyone gets a look-in during the week.

If you want to take advantage of everything Poole Week has to offer, you still have time to enter, but an added incentive to do so straight away is the discounted fee if your entry is received by Monday 5th August.

Poole Week is sponsored by Bournemouth Digital and runs from 18th to 23rd August.
