The biggest sailing project of Russian Federation, National Sailing League, celebrates its fifth anniversary. Start of 2019 season was held on the same day as 12th anniversary of project's General Partner JSC United Shipbuilding Corporation 21st of March.

In April the greatest sailors of Russian Federation will compete in Tuapse during the second stage. Administration of region of Tuapse helps with organization of the event.

For the past five years the project has become bigger and more prestigious, attracted the mightiest sailors of the country. National Sailing League is not just a sailing feast but a unity of people who love sailing.

First and Junior Divisions will be the first to compete at second stage of the League in Tuapse from 19th to 21st of April. Second Division races start on the next week, from 26th to 28th of April. More than 300 Russian sailors, who have known internationally, will take part in the regatta.

"We are glad that NSL became one of the largest sailing projects during our partnership. Not only professional sailors could compete in races, amateur sailors have an opportunity to challenge themselves too," said Alexei Rakhmanov, president of JSC United Shipbuilding Corporation. "Growing amount of young participants of the League is especially pleasant. I am sure that we will be witnesses of first winnings of future Olympic champions during this season's Junior Division."

National Sailing League is multi-staged sailing competition. Every race last for about 20 minutes and is held very close to the shore, thus provides an opportunity for the audience to watch races with the naked eye and with the help of professional commentators to understand what is happening on the water.

According to data known at the moment, there will be 24 teams to compete in First Division, 15 teams in Second and 15 young optimists in Junior Division.

Previous regatta in Sochi revealed the leader for both Divisions. The winner of First Division was 'Akhmat' from Chechen Republic, and the winner of Second Division was 'B-Team' from Saint Petersburg. This is just the beginning of our season and the real competition has just started.

Traditionally, the fastest team will be awarded with the special prize from our General Partner JSC United Shipbuilding Corporation.
