Staunton Harold Sailing Club is looking forward to welcoming GP14 sailors from up and down the country to the GP14 Midland Area Championships on 13/14 April. The Champs form part of The Midland Bell Series and the 2019 Craftinsure Super 7 Series (2019 UK Nationals plus three other events to qualify).

Registration will be open from 9:30 a.m. on the Saturday morning. The briefing will be at 11:00 am. and the first race is scheduled to start at 11:30am. The entry fee for the event is £25 + Class Association fee of £2.50 - i.e £27.50.

Camping is available on-site. For links to alternative accommodation via trip advisor please see below.

You'll also be able to sign up for our evening meal, so you can enjoy a full weekend at Staunton Harold Sailing Club.

If this year's event is anything like the 2018 Open then it will be a great event to compete in and watch. 2018 saw 19 boats from ten different clubs and a close call racing as South Staff's Willis/Dutton team battled it out for first and seconds with local sailors Pepperdine/Forbes. Chase SC's Instone/Parker took third in all three races. Please see the full 2018 results: shsc.org.uk/shscresults/2018/gp14.htm
