NeilPryde Sailing, the choice for high performance watersports clothing and accessories, is pleased to announce its Team Rider sponsorship line-up for 2019.

The iconic brand for dinghy and keelboat sailors is supporting some of the UK's most promising young sailors with a range of kit to protect them while they keep active on the water.

Team Riders include Matilda Nicholls who gained the number two position at the 2018 Laser Radial World Championships and lies fifth in the world rankings. In addition her younger sister Flo, who is Under 16 Laser 4.7 European Champion, is also kitted out by NeilPryde Sailing. The sisters have been wearing NeilPryde Sailing for two years now. "NeilPryde Sailing has provided me with the best sailing kit out there - good for all year round," reported Matilda at the end of last season. "I have especially fallen in love with the Elite Hook Vest Buoyancy Aid - it gives me so much freedom to move around."

New Team Rider Callum Davidson-Guild, who has barely been out of the top three in the Optimist class in the past couple of years has just transitioned to the 420 fleet and will be competing in the world championships this year. Callum tells NeilPryde Sailing "My Raceline buoyancy aid is so much less bulky than previous one and comfortable to wear." He wore the Elite Hike Padz Shorts at the Optimist Worlds in Cyprus with NeilPryde Sailing's Elite Thermalite Trousers and Elite Rashguard Vest. "They were perfect: comfortable and easy to wear in the heat," he says. Callum's brother Jacob, who is coming up through the Optimist UK Nationals Junior Silver Fleet is also wearing NeilPryde Sailing. The brothers also have NeilPryde Sailing's NPS Equipment Bags and Callum has the Oppy Top and Bottom Cover for his dinghy.

Other UK Team Riders benefitting from the NeilPryde Sailing partnership include 29er pairs Aled Llewellyn-Jones and Ben Willett (pictured top right) and Charlotte Ormerod & Jess Jobson (pictured top left) 29er Summer Champions of 2018.

Meanwhile NeilPryde Sailing also partners an 'Elite Team', of top adult sailors including Georg Borkenstein & Eike Dietrich, who beat 58 other boats to gain third place in the 2018 International 14 World Championship, and are the highest performing German International 14 team of all time. Watch the thrilling video of Georg and Eike putting their NeilPryde Sailing kit through its paces:

"We are very excited to be able to follow the progress of our young Team Riders during 2019," comments Andrew Richards of NeilPryde Sailing. "We know that they have the best kit available to keep them warm, protected and active."

The NeilPryde Sailing brand includes a broad inventory of wetsuits, base layers, rash vests, buoyancy aids, harnesses, drysuits, footwear, accessories and dinghy covers.

NeilPryde Sailing gear is used by Olympic dinghy sailors and at national and international championships throughout the UK and Europe.

The NeilPryde Sailing range is available to purchase online at neilprydesailing.com and in outlets across the UK.
