The 2019 race will be held on Saturday 29th June and it regularly attracts over 1400 boats and 15000 sailors. The first start on the 50 nautical mile course will be at 06.30, from which point professional sailors will compete against families and first time racers for one of the nearly 200 prizes to be awarded.
