East Midlands mini series starts soon at Notts County Sailing Club

The 2019 East Midlands mini series, February - March just got even bigger!

Last year the series at Staunton & Notts County attracted over sixty entrants, this year should be even bigger. Enjoy even more racing in the East Midlands mini series with three clubs taking part over three weekends through February and into March. Why not join us, blow away the winter cobwebs and set yourself up for the 2019 season. Last year the series at Staunton & Notts County attracted over sixty entrants, this year should be even bigger.

The first event is the Notts County Cooler next weekend on 9/10th February, followed by the Ogston Woolley Jumper on 23/24th February and the final event is the Staunton Blaster on 2/3rd March. The racing is handicap racing (PY 912/900 and above) average lap and a Pursuit race, each club aims to get 5 races over two days at each club (subject to conditions). Dinghies are welcome and windsurfers (Raceboard) at Notts County and Staunton.

Briefings will be held at 10:45 am on the Saturday of each event. Please see below for links to individual clubs and NORs. Food & drink will be available at all venues.

Entry is free to 2019 paid-up members of the participating clubs; other visitors are welcome at £20 per event (2 days) or £10 for one day (juniors half price).

Notts County SC is 12 miles east of Nottingham close to the M1 and A1, Ogston is near junction 29 of the M1 not far from Clay Cross, and Staunton Harold SC is just outside Melbourne, Derbyshire, not many miles from the M1.
