Argo on pace to break outright course record in Pineapple Cup - Montego Bay Race

Today between 11am and 1pm ET, the nine member crew on the Mod70 Argo is expected to finish the 34th Pineapple Cup - Montego Bay Race. Argo is on pace to capture line honors, a new multihull record, and and a new outright course record.

Current records:

This is the first time since 2003 that multihulls have competed in the Pineapple Cup. The multihull course record of two days 20 hours eight minutes and five seconds was set in 1999 by the late Steve Fosset's Orma60 Lakota.

The outright course record is two days, 10 hours, 24 minutes and 42 seconds set in 2005 by Titan 12, a 75' Reichel/Pugh designed maxi boat.
