F375 XTO, this is the name of the youngest member of the Yamaha outboard family. Only a few months ago, we saw the presentation of the 425 hp (about 317 kW) Yamaha V8 XTO, that rapidly set a new level of standards and received a lot of attention.

Now the marine division can proudly announce another important launch: the new 5.6-liter V8 F375 XTO model, with 375 hp (about 280 kW). This new model shares the same technology as the 317 kW Yamaha V8 XTO as, for example, the direct injection fuel delivery system and the fully integrated electric steering system.

The key words from Yamaha for this new engine and its 'twin' are: power, torque and extreme thrust. The strength required to "push" the heaviest offshore vessels and large luxury vessels must be supported by very resistant gearboxes and an incredibly robust engine capable of activating large propellers together.

This is why Yamaha new XTO engines are the first 4-stroke engines in the industry to use direct injection. The high pressure injection directly into the combustion chamber greatly improves the atomization of the fuel and optimizes its use.
