AMI introduce HydroDrive; the solution for small boat Hydraulic Steering

For small boat owners with outboards up to 150 horsepower, steering options are typically limited to mechanical cable style systems.

These push/pull cable setups often require higher maintenance than hydraulic steering, and can result in diminished performance over time.

AMI are pleased to introduce HydroDrive, a Hydraulic Steering System catering specifically to the small boat sector with outboards up to 150 horsepower. This product is extremely affordable, high quality and available in four complete kits ready for new installation or refit.

An economical and flexible alternative to mechanical steering, providing the capability of a hydraulic system typically only seen on vessels 8 metres and above.

Complete all in one kits with universal fittings compatible with most* outboard motors up to 75, 90, 120 and 150 horsepower.

* Suzuki Outboards require purchase of Extension Adaptors.
