IVF for the Reef at Cairns

The largest collaboration effort to regenerate the Reef is under way at Cairns.

Installing "spawn catchers" - the trial is conducted by researcher Dr Peter Harrison to determine how best to collect baby corals and release them on other reefs. Innovative ways to restore the Reef are among the top 10 actions in our Reef Blueprint.
