Versatility, performance and an ever so close attention paid to detailing and materials. These are the concepts that are at the basis of all the RIBs produced by the Greek TECHNOHULL® shipyard and are all perfectly integrated in their new Explorer 40.

Comfort + Performance = Elegant Cruiser

The values above have been part of the Greek shipyard's DNA since it was established in 2005. They are facts that ensured the production of models so versatile and safe that they can be used for fast, comfortable and elegant cruises, thanks to the RIB's smart design and lay-out.

Performance and high efficiency make any TECHNOHULL® the ideal RIB for people who want to take the weekend off and not worry about the distance to cover, mainly because these boats can take on the most difficult weather and sea conditions in complete safety and comfort, even with a large crew.

A Layout in the Name of Comfort

The cover layout of the TECHNOHULL® Explorer 40 boat is ideally divided into three distinct areas. Starting from the bow, the large sundeck leads to the modern central steering console, served by three ergonomic seats for the skipper and the passengers. The console provides access to the interiors, where there is a toilet and a double bunk - ideal for relaxing or for short cruises.

There are two configurations for the stern area - owners can decide on a full-width sofa, with another double sofa opposite and facing the stern, served by a table in the middle, or opt for the Sundeck configuration, dominated by one large sun-bathing area.

1250 HP Maximum Power

Performance and manoeuvrability are among the strong points of the models from the Alimos shipyard.

Owners can choose among several motor options, inboard and outboard engine, with up to 2x625 HP maximum power, which will allow TECHNOHULL® Explorer 40 to achieve speeds greater than 70 mph.

Dynastream, The New Patented Hull Technology

The new TECHNOHULL® Explorer 40 is a clear example of the new TECHNOHULL® DynaStream patented world-class design and hull technology, fully implemented by the shipyard and conceived in well-known universities and naval architects. By evaluating the working envelope of each model and the demands of the range, the Greek shipyard has derived separate hull design constraints. Using state-of-the-art computer programmes and hull structure algorithms, key hull design aspects have been confirmed. After several design loops, the hydrodynamic profile is streamlined. As a result, strake geometry, step number, step positioning and the variable dead-rise distribution along the hull's surface have been optimised.

The combination of the above has resulted in a boat that is perfectly balanced, efficient and extremely seaworthy, perfect for fast commuting, yet with a very smooth and safe ride, providing a high thrill factor both for the expert and newcomer.
