Alexander Marine Australia, the importer of Ocean Alexander yachts in Australia and New Zealand, is pleased to announce the design and construction of a new motor yacht model, the 90R, which will make its world-debut at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 31 October – 4 November, 2018.

The 90R is the first model of the new Revolution Series of yachts by Ocean Alexander. It's a collaborative design between the offices of Evan K. Marshall and Arrabito Naval Architects, both of which are world-renowned for yacht design and naval engineering.

When asked about the project, Marshall explained, "The design for the new Ocean Alexander 90R has provided my design office with one of our most exciting and rewarding challenges to date. It builds on our long-standing collaboration with one of our closest partners in which we have over the period of seven years comprehensively developed a new signature design styling for both the interior and exterior of the company's product line, placing them at the forefront of the yachting industry."

He continues to state, "With the new 90R, we have taken this collaboration one step further, introducing a completely new design language which retains the core DNA of Ocean Alexander yachts while creating a new modern and exciting styling language the future. We are confident that this new bold design direction for Ocean Alexander will be met with the more success and will continue to expand the appeal of Ocean Alexander yachts internationally."

Giuseppe Arrabito added, "We're very glad to start a new relationship with Ocean Alexander and collaborate again with Evan K. Marshall, whom we've worked with for more than 25 years. The perfect synergy between naval architect and designer, with excellent project management by Ocean Alexander are crucial to achieve a perfect yacht design. We had the opportunity to design the hull lines of the entire Ocean Alexander Revolution series where 90R is just the first one launched.

"Our mission is to fulfil all targets Ocean Alexander asked of us, such as top hull lines performances that must match with Marshall's extremely general layout. The hull needed to provide a very smooth performance with rough sea conditions and also optimum seakeeping properties at various speeds and sea conditions." Arrabito concludes, "These are trademarks of the Ocean Alexander brand that had to be included in this new series. We utilized and fully studied these hull lines by means of complete CFD calculations to obtain the best result."

Some unique design elements of the 90R will include a never-before-seen beach club that comes with a wet bar and gorgeous skylight, the perfect place to relax and watch the stars. The new full-width main deck expands living space without compromising the incredible performance and efficiency Ocean Alexander is known for. The height of luxury can be found in the spacious on-deck master along with the option of four additional staterooms below. With floor-to-ceiling windows, the salon provides stunning near 360 degrees views that will be unrivalled in its class.

The Alexander Marine Australia sales team will be attending the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show to celebrate the debut of this exciting new model, and look forward to showcasing the boat to Aussie & Kiwi buyers who make the trip.
