The Galeon 640 Fly was awarded the prestigious World Yacht Trophy as the "Most Innovative Yacht" in the 60-80 feet category at the recent 2018 Cannes Yachting Festival.

Described as a "tricked-out cruiser" with an array of clever features never before seen in its class, the Galeon 640 Fly boasts innovations like the Beach Mode, retractable front windshield and carbon reinforced construction which impressed Jury members who declared the 20.8m flybridge model a genuine "game changer".

A true transformer motor yacht, the Galeon 640 Fly revolutionizes the segment with unique design elements that allow for bigger volume and better space distribution, all while maintaining a lean, assertive profile for which Galeon is renowned.

The aft cockpit dining area with rotating sofa option is inviting for up to eight guests, protected from the elements by the electric sunshade with an entertainment system and 40-inch TV sliding up from the kitchen top. The hydraulic swim platform is capable of handling all manner of water toys and tender, plus provides easy access to the skipper's or multi-purpose cabin and a 3.2 m tender garage.

The top deck comprises a generous dining space, a full-sized bar and plenty of lounge space surrounding the helm. The bow deck area is the epitome of innovation, with its electric front window entrance revealing two separate movable sofas with integrated foldable tables that convert into sunpads. An adjacent wet bar completes the picture for convenience and style.

The famed Galeon Beach Mode makes the 640 Fly an entertainer's dream, fitted with six-metre balconies with paratially glazed floors and a breakfast bar on both sides.

Inside, the saloon is a study in space and light, with separate lounge and dining areas with large side windows, a bar and main helm. An innovative two-way stair system allows a three full-beam cabin layout, or a four-cabin layout to suit larger families and charter groups.

For those buyers who prefer a single level coupe layout, the Galeon 650 Skydeck model would be of interest as she offers a similar main deck and accommodation layout to the 640 Fly without the addition of the flybridge.

Represented in Australia and New Zealand by Alexander Marine Australia, located in The Boat Works, Coomera on Queensland's Gold Coast, Galeon will make its debut on the Australian boating scene in early 2019. The first two models to arrive will be the Galeon 460 Fly and 510 Skydeck models.

Polish-made, with a reputation for unparalleled attention to detail, cutting edge technology and ground-breaking designs, Galeon has become one of the premier European boat builders, with over 30 years' experience.

Dealer Principal, Todd Holzapfel said "We are thrilled to welcome the Galeon 460 Fly and 510 Skydeck models this summer."

"Galeon motor yachts are totally unique with design input of internationally-regarded naval architects such as Tony Castro and Roberto Curtò.

"We're sure the Australian boating public will be just as impressed with Galeon when these first new models arrive on our shores."
