Shaun Frolich's Exabyte 5 had a winning start to Lendy Cowes Week, taking the gun in Race One for the International Etchells Class. Racing with David Bedford and Duncan Truswell, the team were enjoying a celebratory drink at the Fever-Tree bar after their victory.

"I love a rum, and the ginger stops you from being sea-sick!" Laughed Shaun. "It was lovely to get off to a good start, we were not always in the lead but we took our opportunites today and made some good tactical decision. Racing an Etchells is very pure sailing, we are not allowed any electronics, so today with light winds, the adrenalin came from getting the strategy right. Lendy Cowes Week is the best big regatta in the world; we have some great racing, and to come back to this sort of wonderful hospitality, it is a beautiful way to end the day, and even sweeter when you have scored a bullet."

Shaun chose a Perfect Storm, made from Fever-Tree Ginger Beer and Westerhall's Rum. David and Duncan chose a Fever-Tree Tonic and Tanqueray Gin garnished with a slice of blood orange.
