Julian Gildersleeve is a First Class Marine Engineer, former yacht captain and Whitbread ocean racer. Chippy has been a part of Antigua's charter yacht industry since its infancy and at the forefront of yacht woodwork. The two 'old salts' have been living in Antigua since the 1970s. Julian and Chippy both chose a Perfect Storm at the Fever-Tree Bar at Antigua Sailing Week, made from 5 Year Old English Harbour Rum and Fever-Tree Ginger Beer.
"It's an easy cocktail to make with the right ingredients." commented Chippy. "It's a perfect combination, sweet, spicy and refreshing. Along with my wife, we do like to make our own rum punch, using the bittersweet fruit that grows in our garden, so I am a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to the mix. The Fever-Tree Ginger Beer is great, and after all most of a cocktail is the mixer, so it has to be."
