Gerardo Crisanti wins 2018 Italian Sunfish® Championship on Lake Bracciano

Planet Sail hosted the 2018 Italian Sunfish® Championship on the waters of Lake Bracciano, Northern Rome Province on July 6 - 8. Nineteen sailors battled with challenging weather conditions and the regatta winner was decided on the last day of the series.

Geraldo Crisanti (Societa' Canottieri Orbetello) took the top honors and became the 34th Sunfish® Italian Champion without winning a race. Andrea Balzer (Lega Navale Italiana sez. Pomezia) took second place, and Antonino Aneri (GDV LNI Messina) was third.

Other winners included Eduardo Brini - top Youth, Paola Lo Duca - top woman, Antonino Aneri - top master, and Fabrizio Menghetti - top Grand Master.
