Eurosaf Club Sailing European Championship - Day 4

Only a few races took place yesterday due to unpredictable wind conditions. The forecasts were pretty clear and only two races were performed successfully.

Although there were no changes in the ranking list, the progress of the sailing teams is noticeable. In particular, many Greek and Swiss teams have a few young sailors on board, giving them a wide opportunity to improve their skills.

The Greek teams are fascinated by the umpired fleet race format, not yet practised in their country. We all hope that the event in Pylos will give the Greek sailing community a boost to start a sailing league as in many other countries.

Finally, the use of the RoboBuoys allowed the racing committee to react quickly to changing wind conditions.
